I'm still writing. Still doing NaNo as best I can. You may have noticed the lack of prompts/stories posted.
Believe me: I have, too.
When I set my expectations and goals, I hadn't quite realized that in those brief moments I'm able to set her down and be productive, writing would have to compete with other priorities. Like peeing. And showers. And eating, which, by the way, involves food prep (somehow, I forget that). And laundry so she doesn't smell like sour milk and develop rashes. And washing bottles and nipple shields (I didn't know that was a thing until she arrived, but they are wonderful inventions).
Life with baby is a never ending adventure and discovery.
Also, I'm not much for writing short pieces. Apparently. Though by 'short,' I now mean 100-500 words, because that is the max I'm allowed in any given day. Apparently.
But so far this NaNo, I've only skipped writing two days! Go me! It doesn't all end up here. But when I finish this current story-piece, I will post it here. (I'm having fun with it and looking forward to seeing what other people think!)
